KristaThe reason I became a realtor is the interaction I had with Weichert Realtors Broadway Realty’s Broker, Paula Arndt. I purchased two homes through Paula and my experience was fantastic. Now several years later I’m a salesperson and looking forward to give potential sellers/buyers the same experience. The people at Weichert Realtors Broadway Realty work as a team. That is something I have a lot of experience in as you will find out.

I’m a lifelong resident of the Central Michigan area. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Brenda, since 1981. I have two grown children who are awesome people and are enjoying their lives now that they have graduated from college. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a double major, Earth Science/Broadcasting. I had the privilege of playing four years of baseball at CMU and benefitted from all of the friendships and travel that experience offered. I’ve had a rich work experience in my life. I grew up on farm a few miles northeast of Mt. Pleasant. My next work experience was as a maintenance helper as a student at CMU during the summers. After graduation I took a temporary job at Doerr Heating and Air Conditioning and ended up working for ten years at this local business. It was an invaluable experience as I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about the building, electrical, plumbing, and of course the heating and air conditioning trades. Being able to watch the process of building a home gives me an appreciation and insight into these professions. I decided to go back to school to become a certified teacher in Earth Science and was excited about the possibility of coaching. I’ve been teaching and coaching since 1994 in the Mt. Pleasant school district. I coach middle school cross country, seventh grade boy’s basketball, and junior varsity baseball at Mt. Pleasant high school. Teaching and coaching has been a very rewarding career as I enjoy working with people and having a positive impact on their lives.

As I continue to teach and coach in the community I want to further serve this community in, not just finding houses, but homes for others. As they say, “Home is where the heart is”. One of the strengths of our nation is the experience of people to own their home and the pride in taking care of that home. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and serve you as you fulfill your dreams.
